In addition to making ready to wear items, we also sew made to order dog coats and mini-scARFs. If your dog is not one of our standard sizes or if you have a particular color scheme in mind, please contact us at k9tailor@yahoo.com and let us know what you would like. We will let you know whether we can fill our order and what the cost will be.

CUSTOM MADE DOG RAINCOATS

Below are the fabrics we currently have available for made to order raincoats. We buy our fabrics in small quantities. If you see something you want, order quickly because once a fabric is gone, we might not be able to get any more.

The fabrics for the outsides of the raincoats are either vinyl, PUL, or a medium weight cotton. Vinyl is waterproof and fairly heavy. PUL is a lightweight knit fabric bonded to a plastic film. PUL is waterproof and much softer than vinyl. Medium weight cotton is not waterproof; it will keep your dog dry for a quick "business trip" outdoors, but it will not keep your dog dry for an extended period. If you want, you can use a spray on waterproof-ing product to increase the ability of the medium weight cotton to shed water.

The fabrics we use to line our raincoats are cotton for summer weight coats and flannel for cool weather coats.

You can see our ready to wear mini-scARFs on the Extras page. Below are the mini-scARF fabrics we currently have available for made to order mini-scARFs. We buy our fabrics in small quantities. If you see something you want, order quickly because once a fabric is gone, we might not be able to get any more. These fabrics are not for coats.
Because these are reversible, you can choose any two of the fabrics shown below. There are no right or wrong choices, so pick the two you like the best. When you check out using PayPal, in the "Add Special Instructions to Seller" section, tell us the numbers of the two fabrics you've chosen - Scarf fabrics 59 and 34, for example.
